We present a veranda design for a historic 13th-century restaurant, located directly on the market square. The visualization and the attached top view plan demonstrate how the historic character of the building has been successfully combined with modern functionality.
Key elements of the project:
Lightweight polycarbonate roof – provides protection from weather conditions without overloading the historic structure, while maintaining its visual lightness.
Sliding glass system – a fully openable front allows for the creation of an “open-air” space, which is essential for a restaurant setting. Thanks to this solution, the view of the historic market square remains unobstructed, allowing guests to fully enjoy its unique atmosphere.
Respect for history – the design, especially visible in the top view, has been developed with full respect for the building’s historic form. All elements are non-invasive and enhance its historical value.
